Project Overview
DR Synergy: A Project-Social group that will be composed of members from previous DR groups, tasked with gathering information and reaching out to contacts to best prepare the group to get accurate and feasible designs on the table for future trips and construction. Utilizing contacts both in the Dominican Republic and in the United States, this group will be tasked with answering the questions left unanswered. Numbers, details and measurements will all be things that this group will look to collect as they attempt to suture the design holes left by missing information. Head communicators with the community.
Core Responsibilities
- Facilitate cross-team communication and collaborative workshops
- Consolidate research findings into shared documentation and deliverables
- Maintain an integrated project roadmap that balances milestones across subteams
- Support partner engagement with AgroFrontera, local leadership, and the EWB professional chapter
Key Activities
- Organize biweekly synergy meetings to review progress and surface interdependencies
- Develop shared decision logs and action trackers to keep tasks on schedule
- Coordinate technical design sessions when solutions require inputs from multiple subteams
- Prepare consolidated presentations for community updates and sponsor briefings
Deliverables
- Combined project charter outlining goals and responsibilities for each subteam
- Integrated Gantt chart or project timeline updated throughout the semester
- Risk register capturing cross-cutting challenges and mitigation strategies
- End-of-term portfolio summarizing design progress, budget status, and next steps
